Blair K. Walsh obtained her undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University in 2004 and a law degree from Santa Clara University in 2008. After being admitted to the California State Bar, she began her career as an associate at the McNamara Law Firm in Walnut Creek.  In 2014, Blair joined Abramson Smith Waldsmith, where she currently represents victims of catastrophic injuries.

Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a law clerk at the San Francisco Bay Area civil litigation firms of Shea & Shea and Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy and interned for the Honorable James P. Kleinberg at the Santa Clara County Superior Court and the Honorable Conrad L. Rushing, Presiding Justice of the Sixth District Court of Appeal.

Blair is active in the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) and its Barristers Club, BASF’s new lawyers division, comprised of nearly 3,000 members in their first ten years of practice.  From 2014 to 2016, Blair sat on the Barristers Club’s Board of Directors, serving as its President in 2016.  From 2010 to 2012, she co-chaired the Barristers Social & Networking Committee.  As a result of her contributions to BASF and her dedication to encouraging professionalism in the practice of law, the Bar Association of San Francisco presented her with the Barrister of the Year award in 2010.

Currently, Blair serves on the San Francisco Law Library’s Board of Trustees, the Board of Directors of the UCSF Partners in Care, and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association’s Women’s Caucus.  She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Justice & Diversity Center of the Bar Association of San Francisco (JDC), which provides pro bono legal services to low-income people and educational programs designed to encourage diversity in the legal profession.

Blair has been named one of Northern California's "Rising Stars" by Super Lawyers magazine every year since 2013, an honor based on a peer review process and available to only 2.5% of California attorneys in their first ten years of practice.  In 2016, she was selected as one of the "Top 40 Under 40" by the National Trial Lawyers.
