20 injured in double-decker tour bus crash

Two double-decker tour buses were involved in a crash at a busy intersection near Union Square in San Francisco this afternoon, Friday, November 13, 2015, at 2:57 p.m. Early eyewitness reports describe one of the buses driving erratically at a high rate of speed when it lost control, striking several cars, a cyclist, and scaffolding from a nearby construction site.

Six people required extrication following the collision, two were located underneath the bus. A total of twenty people sustained injuries, three of which suffered moderate to life threatening injuries, including the cyclist.
