When it comes to motor vehicle accidents, multiple factors can lead to a crash and affect the outcome of a collision. For example, if a San Franciso driver was speeding, those involved may have a higher chance of sustaining an injury or passing away. However, it is important for drivers to reflect on other issues that can possibly increase the likelihood of a car accident, such as the time of day.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration states that occupants of passenger vehicles are roughly three times more likely to pass away in an accident at night in comparison to the day. There are many dangerous factors that can play a role in deadly accidents that happen during the night, such as drivers reaching excessive speeds, alcohol use and passengers not wearing their seat belts.

According to the NHTSA, deadly drunk driving accidents are more likely to occur at certain times. For example, data from 2009 shows that fatal wrecks that occurred between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. were more likely to involve a driver who was operating under the influence of alcohol. In fact, drunk drivers were part of two-thirds of deadly wrecks during this year and between these hours. Other hours during which more drunk drivers took to the road were between 6 p.m. until 12 a.m.

Victims of a car accident and families who are mourning the loss of someone who was close should stay committed to recovery. If a negligent driver caused their suffering, they should have him or her held accountable.

Vehicle Accidents

There are two things to establish in any motor vehicle accident case: the cause of the accident (fault) and the full cost of the injuries and losses. As we prepare your case, we will investigate both of these.

& Serious Injuries

People suffering from a brain injury, spinal cord injury or other severe injury will require extensive medical treatment, rehabilitative therapy and other long-term care.

Abuse & Molestation

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

Claims related to sports and recreation injuries can be complicated. These cases often include issues involving waivers and the “assumption of risk” defense.

& Spine Injuries

When you or a loved one suffers a traumatic brain injury (TBI), life changes dramatically. Even mild TBIs can lead to years of recovery and rehabilitation.
