Many people are aware of the dangers associated with drunk driving, and the threat posed by those who operate a vehicle while intoxicated by alcohol or drug use. However, there are other behaviors that can put the lives of everyone on the road at risk, such as distracted driving. In San Francisco, and in cities across all of California, distracted drivers can be incredibly dangerous and sometimes cause crashes which result in severe injuries and death.

During 2015, the loss of 3,477 lives were attributed to distracted driving, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports. Moreover, 391,000 people sustained injuries due to this dangerous behavior over the course of the same year. Distracted driving is dangerously common among teenagers, but drivers of all ages may become distracted while behind the wheel.

There are a wide variety of distractions that divert the attention of drivers. While cell phone use is one of the most common distractions, there are many other potentially risky activities. For example, eating, trying to turn the radio station, communicating with other people in the vehicle, and looking for something on the floor can also divert a driver’s attention.

If you were hit by someone who was not paying attention, then it is crucial for you to examine all options as you try to piece your life together. Unfortunately, it can be hard or even impossible to prove that a driver was distracted when an accident happened. However, if your life has been thrown into chaos because of a negligent driver, you deserve justice.

Vehicle Accidents

There are two things to establish in any motor vehicle accident case: the cause of the accident (fault) and the full cost of the injuries and losses. As we prepare your case, we will investigate both of these.

& Serious Injuries

People suffering from a brain injury, spinal cord injury or other severe injury will require extensive medical treatment, rehabilitative therapy and other long-term care.

Abuse & Molestation

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

Claims related to sports and recreation injuries can be complicated. These cases often include issues involving waivers and the “assumption of risk” defense.

& Spine Injuries

When you or a loved one suffers a traumatic brain injury (TBI), life changes dramatically. Even mild TBIs can lead to years of recovery and rehabilitation.
